PVE raids

Post  BoDoM on Tue Jun 22, 2010 11:20 am

So being that we have at least one new member who is new to the game, I thought it would be a good idea to post links to all the PVE scenarios I could find. Then they can see the other side of the game Smile

Dungeon crawl scenario:

Half demon priest of carcosa raid:

For some reason I couldn't put the rest of the links in the last post.

Warlord kalithesh raid (sorry spelling is probably wrong):

http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/wowminis/en/news/default.aspx?aid=7074

Crystalline devourer raid:

http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/wowminis/en/news/default.aspx?aid=6252

Lamia morta raid:

http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/wowminis/en/news/default.aspx?aid=7393

I believe that's all of the ones I can find. Have fun!

I loved playing all of these raids, and I think raids work a lot better in Minis than in TCG, since it's not turn based but tick based. So the healer can actually lay off a tick and come hard a heal rather than having to wait 4 turns before he can actually heal, probably when his teammate is almost dead or even dead already.

Yeah I totally agree with you. The strategy element of the game really shines through in the PVE raids. I usually end up playing against myself, but the party building is one of the most fun parts for me anyway. The honor caps are definitely a challenge.

Yes, thats what makes the raid hard, if you could just choose 4 minis for example for Lamia....well....it would be boss carnage Razz

Haha, well I hear ya, I had a hard time convincing my friends to try a raid rather than a normal BG, but in the end they tried them and loved them

Yeah I hear you on that note. My friends come over and they want to 3v3. 5v5 takes to long they say and raids... They're like, what do you mean we have to read and learn things lol.
