customize minis 3 - For the Horde!

It has been a while since our last time. Finally I've done the big proj of work and have some free time to touch up my WoW figures. So far I've built some figures for characters of the Horde (I prefer the old model in WoW then new ones in Cataclysm:



First is a mount for Warchief Thrall ( I dislike the fact that he is no longer the warchief). I prefer Snowsong to be black though


The Venerable Highlord Saurfang (from Gorebelly)


War-hungry and blood-thirsty Garosh Hellscream


Gladiator master- Rehgar Earthfury. this model take me forever to convert (0.0)

And a female figure, lady Sylvanas Windrunner, although I think I'm coming back to add more fluff for her...

i'm still around. can't say as much for anyone else.

i've been trying to find time to think up character cards and stuff for new characters, but with my new job i've only had time to even paint one in the past two months. i haven't even played lol. my painted minis are even starting to adorn the dash in my car.

being that you took the time to post new pics, maybe i'll get the murloc out of my car and put a picture of him up here too.

We've thrown around some ideas for new ABC's and character cards, but we haven't really talked about it for a few months now.

We all got kind of busy with work. Maybe we'll get back to planning now.

Thanks for the compliment. They are make from mainly WoW minis, d&d minis and Mage Knight.
Thrall: add the "Dire Wolf" from d&d
Saurfang: all WoW minis, from Gorebelly. The tabard and mask are from the cloak of Mr Fourboars.
Garrosh: all WoW minis, from fourboars, double the axe of the figure, replace by the head of Gorebelly.
Rehgar: bottom half from Phadalus, top half from zombie figure of D&D, and the head from wolf shaman of Mage Knight.
Sylvanas: all WoW minis with the new head of the Draenei Priest

Hope they are helpful. It's really cool that you are interested. It may takes a while but it's extremely exciting as you can add more characters for the game. I suggest you start with all WoW figures first, just buy a whole case on Ebay (so cheap now, yes that's the good side when a game are slow down) and a good knife, then you can make anyone you like.

yea Rehgar is the most combi one
Sorry for the misleading,I forgot. the top half is not a zombie figure, but the name is Foulspawn Hulk (d&d).
The orc mage knight, you got it right
The shoulder was costly when I made them; it is the combi of Haruka Skycaller's shoulder and the two edges of Daxin Firesworn's weapon. They are probably cheaper now.

I must once again say that your mods are awesome Unpluggamer! I truly envy your aptitude for creating new figures! Eventually i'm gonna give it a try. Just been so busy. Why is it that every time I find a good hobby work gets in the way?

So I have been working on the cards with the help of my brother; such a long time project it is. We tried a few times with these card and they work out quite well. You guys who playing should give it a try by using other similar figures; the game would be more excited with more character right

High Overlord Saurfang
Health 11, Armor 3, Resistance 1
ATK: tick 3, range 1, melee 7
Critical: damage +1 or put an assault counter on the defender.
Saurfang’s morale: allies can reroll one die when attacking (once per even) for each assault counter on the defender.

ABC:
Terrifying roar (Instant)
Each enemy within 2 immediately moves up to its speed away from this character and has -1 ATK until the end of its next turn.



Garrosh Hellscream
Armor 3, Resistance1, Health 12
ATK: tick 3, range 1, melee 6
Critical: Garrosh can move the defender one space for each damage dealt by this attack
Blood Wrath: When an attack against an ally within 1 is critical, put a +1 ATK counter on Garrosh. Remove one counter at the end of tick 10.

This character’s next attack has +1 for each space it moves toward the defender
Recharge: ready this card at the end of tick 5.

PS: All the cards are made from the idea of each character's story gathered from the game Warcraft 3 (Sylnanas), WoW (Saurfang), to the comic Series (Rehgar). Also for some characters I could not find the fit quote for its status.
Any feedback, either like it or not is appreciated.

I want to make Grom Hellscream but I haven't found the right figure, for the scale is a biggest issue to me. Any suggestion guys?

i'll start going back to the novels. i know there are some good descriptions in there. i just have to remember which ones they're in...

So at last I finished Grom Hellscream figure, my longest project . The base figure is Aspect of Bane from D&D, accessories are from Warhammer, the head is Gorebelly's.

Any way: here are the status and ABC of Grom, they have yet to be tested..

Grom Hellscream (Warrior)
Armor 3 - Resistance 1 - Health 10
Attack: Gorehowl: tick 3 – range 1 – damage 7
Critical: Grom has move +1 until the end of its next turn.
Piercing Roar (instant): Grom spawns with a Battle Cry counter
Remove the counter: allies gain ATK +1 and critical: make another ATK (pay tick cost as normal) until the end of tick 5/10.
Legendary
Time to die! For the Warsong clan!

ABC:
Bladestorm: (attack)
Tick 2
Grom moves up to three spaces and deals 2 damages to each enemy adjacent to the spaces he moves in.

This guy looks pretty sweet. Here are you some cards man. I put him as a Fury talent as that seemed appropriate based on his movements and actions.

The bear of WoW is the figure I dislike the most. So I made the bear Misa for Rexxar by using d&d figure Dire Bear. This one is even bigger than the Tauren bear form figure.

I like that dire bear alot man. You paint him up like that?

no painting at all, its the original dire bear from Trollandtoad. I just cut off some white thing on the fur..

They look pretty amazing, how did you make the shoulder armor, the helmet and the axe of the warrior?
Is it just green stuff or have you used parts of some other figure?
Did you use a standard character as basis for your figure(Gorebelly?) or have you build it from the scratch?

I try to build my own miniature of Sylvanas with a lot of green stuff and Ellana/Cristia, currently she is completely white, but I ll post her when I colored her.
